Birds are a little too common in graphic design (think of all those winged bird emblems). Partly because they have great form, but also because they associate with concepts like freedom and escapism. We love them because they can fly.

For three years now I've had a real fascination with using birds in my work. Soon I'll be wearing tweed and hanging out in shrubbery with binoculars.
