The Mystery Cow.
In 2005 I was approached to design a logo for a specialty Brie cheese produced in Berry.
At the time I'd heard someone say the computer is to design as the microwave is to cooking.
With this little mantra in mind, I paid 50 cents for a potato, carved a cow out of it and inked the logo you see here.
Subtle touches such as the nostrils of the cow, which I hadn't intentionally carved out of the potato, turned up during the process of transferring ink to paper.
To go along with the quirky style of the product, I successfully suggested the name for the brand - 'The Mystery Cow'.
